In 2024, my pregnancy was progressing normally. Then, at 26 weeks, my son JoJo arrived early following a medical situation that involved decisions about my care which I later found myself deeply questioning.

In the blink of an eye, my husband and I found ourselves navigating the uncertain world of the NICU for eight months.

That experience changed how we see pregnancy care. It showed me how crucial it is to ask questions and to be fully informed before agreeing to any intervention.

My mission is to help prevent others from finding themselves in a similar position, and to empower parents to advocate for themselves and their babies, especially in moments where decisions feel urgent.
